Testament Ljubezni (feat. Matter & Tsujigiri)

Better is a fruit of a deep friendship between the celebrated rap trio Matter and the YGT frontman Gregor Kocijančič, who is currently producing under his Tsujigiri alias. The creative paths of the four buddies have been crossing since their beginnings: they shared studios, stages and backstages, they gave each other feedback for works in progress, but most importantly, they've spent countless hours on bromancing, giggling, patting on the shoulders and everything else that comes along.

Testament ljubezni (The Testament of Love), Better's debut album, isn't only a joint effort between the four homies: It's also a sort of a "family business", a collaboration between a father (Gorazd) and son (Gregor), that enabled them to establish an unexpected but a deep and incredibly meaningful connection: Tsujigiri started transforming his father's poems into rap lyrics, Dacho and Tunja used them as a source of inspiration. The album is therefore a collection of unlikely trap bangers but simultaneously a glimpse into a fascinating mystical and metaphysical world.

At the time of the release of the album, Istrian wunderkind Shao, Better's outside producer affiliate, is already mixing their second album.
